For the past two years I've been working with the County of Sonoma on a comission to "artify" over a mile of sidewalk as a memorial for the loss of life and property from the Tubbs fire. Community workshops led to three core "values" words--UNITY, RESILIENCE and RENEWAL, which I cast in concrete benches. We also used sparklegrain to create a sparkely "river" in the new sidewalk.
