Petaluma Values Project (Proposal)
The Petaluma Values Project has made the final round of selection for a public art commission in Petaluma: from 26 applicants down to 10, and now I’ve made it to the final three. I have proposed an extension of the Values Project that I completed in Napa and Sacramento. I will be working with the community to determine the six words that define Petaluma, but instead of painting the words in parking lots, I will make them in brass and set them in sidewalks in the downtown area.
The Petaluma Art Commission is accepting comments now. If you support my project, I would be incredibly appreciative if you would submit a note voicing your support. I have tried to make it easy for you by including a “comment form” that you could use, if you would like. I’m just asking for a couple sentences saying that you support “Petaluma’s Six-Word Manifesto”.
