I'm showing two pieces at the Great Wave: Art About the Ocean show that just opened at the Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek.
Meant to be as deeper dive into the Discovery Project, I'm presenting a video documenting the burial of over 100 Buddha heads on the US pacific coast, between Mexico and Canada. I've intercut still images with elemental geometry, meant to be a bridge between culture and nature. See the video HERE.
The second piece is an installation of 104 cast stone Buddha heads arrayed on a blue canvas field of elemental geometry studded with symbols of the 118 elements from the periodic table.
It will be on display until March 22nd
